Info to submit yourself for a new Neo-Burlesque dance group (non-nude) that Me'lanie Talent's Glam Girls is putting together. Dancers must be able to meet in the Portland, OR metro area & travel for performance /show bookings as those will be open to beyond our area. Me'lanie Talent offers professional event / party services & specialty entertainment talent for all kinds of special occasions w/ a focus on high profile & upscale. Portland, OR metro area & beyond. SUBMIT for our team! Me'lanie Talent is taking submissions to start building a dance team to do choreo ~ including from people without working experience (but have basic dance training)! Now's your chance to get in with Me'lanie Talent! Our primary focus right now will be for Neo Burlesque (think of the movie Burlesque) at upscale events, primarily around Portland metro. COMMITMENT: Learning choreo once group is selected (unpaid), MUST RESIDE in Portland, OR metro area, able to commit to learning jazz choreo & paid performances with the group. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY & follow instructions, this is very detailed. Strongly prefer those with training & experience however will now work w/ overall awesome people that don't have paid experience yet but are talented, quick learners or hard workers whom can learn choreo. Performances/gigs will usually be on weekends. Learning choreo to a couple songs will be required for these events, doing those same routines at most events as our basic show package. Pay: Competitive, Depends on the role, gig and your experience. Rehearsals are unpaid, Performances are paid. Age requirement: prefer min 21 yrs, will consider some 18-20 but most events require 21 & up. Need to be: attractive, in shape enough to wear revealing dance apparel, classy, able to appear clean cut, engaging/captivating to audiences, act appropriately in upscale settings, have good personal hygiene. Sorry no alternative looks, wild hair or excessive body mods that are seen/shown during performances. Note~ provided standard uniforms will be revealing~ tight/dance fitted for sexy but classy Neo-Burlesque outfits (no nudity). Please inquire if you have tats on chest, arms, stomach, back, legs, neck etc.... Also MUST be: APPROACHABLE, COACHABLE, DEDICATED, DEPENDABLE, FOLLOW DIRECTIONS, FRIENDLY, GOOD COMMUNICATOR, HARD WORKING, HONEST, OUTGOING (at gigs be an extrovert), PASSIONATE, PROFESSIONAL, RELIABLE, have RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION, TEAM PLAYER, TRUSTWORTHY & have a GREAT ATTITUDE!! Interests (things you may not have any experience or training in but want to). 3. PHOTOS (do NOT want photoshopped so pro pix NOT necessary but only you/solo in photo & clearly, evenly lit, no hats or sunglasses etc): 3a. Headshot ( 1 or 2: One NOT heavy/stage makeup, how do you look with basic makeup & One glammed up pic if you have it). 3b. Full-body (3: front, side, back) in a dance apparel type outfit showing your physique. 4. VIDEO links: 1-3 mins each, solo/just you, well-lit, if you have it. Our events will mostly be mainstream top 40 type music so that music is best for videos if you can get it quickly. * Please do not send HUGE files. If you have questions or don't have something or don't know how to get these things just ask, open communication is crucial.
